The 4th January 2026 will mark the 50 year anniversary of the passing of John-Martin, Brian and Anthony Reavey.
So please join us as a special host will present the Reavey Brothers 50th Anniversary Event, taking place at Silverbridge GAC, (New Rd, Silverbridge, Newry, BT35 9LR) on Friday 9th January, 2026.
This night of remembrance will feature victim stories from those impacted locally. Eugene Reavey, following the release of his book ‘The Killing of the Reavey Brothers’ will also be in attendance. A screening of the short film ‘Reavey Brothers’ (2022) will follow, paired with a Q&A from director and nephew of the brothers John Reavey. Paired alongside the cast; featuring Dylan Llewellyn (Derry Girls, Big Boys), Niall McNamee (Love Without Walls, One Night in Bath), Kevin Nugent (Curers & Former Armagh All-Ireland Minor Champion) & Geraldine McAlinden (Verdigris, Our Father). The night will then be closed with traditional Irish dancing from Aine Malone (All-Ireland & World Champion). Followed with live music from Raglan.
Dress Code
The dress code for the evening will be Smart/Formal, but Smart Casual will also be welcomed.

Public seating is unreserved, but we’ll endeavour to keep your group seated together where possible.
